RESTAURANT HIGHLIGHT
According to anonymous sources, Borrachito doesn’t miss.
Borrachito is a true gem of Seaport. Their friendly team behind the counter (and behind the convenient ordering window!) effortlessly combines the vibrant flavors of Mexican cuisine with a captivating atmosphere. Nestled within the walls of The Superette, this impressive establishment boasts an exciting dual identity: by day, it's a haven for delectable tacos and burritos that transport your taste buds south of the border; by night, it transforms into a lively, late-night destination for those seeking cocktails, live DJ performances, and an unforgettable fiesta.
The real kicker, though, is the speakeasy entrance and vibe, where you get to walk past the proverbial velvet rope and savor craft cocktails in a clandestine ambiance that oozes mystery, intrigue, and excitement. The Borrachito team has a knack for curating a memorable night out, and we highly recommend you check it out.

SEAPORT FACTS
Did you know that Seaport runs on…pharmaceuticals?
Vertex Pharmaceuticals, known for a product suite that includes drug regimens targeting specialty diseases like sickle cell disease, is one of the Seaport’s largest tenants, and they just announced further expansion. Vertex announced plans to build another 344,000 square foot facility in Seaport to support the continued growth of its cell and genetic therapies programs.
With the new build, Vertex will occupy 1.9 million square feet of real estate in the Seaport across five sites, making it the largest biotech in Boston in terms of square footage and the largest tenant here in the Seaport.
READER REPLIES
Is TSJ the next big food newsletter?
Last week, TSJ asked readers to submit pictures of their Seaport adventures, and we received pictures of a wide range of subjects: from coffee at the Capital One Cafe (LOL) to bao buns at Puttshack, from a cheesesteak at Stubby’s to the world-famous burger at Miznon.
Are you noticing a theme here? It seems our readers enjoy pictures of food: taking them, seeing them, sending them, etc. TSJ will always be focused on delivering the hardest hitting news in Seaport, but we know a trend when we see it. Our readers know how to eat…
We’re trying to grow The Seaport Journal before Big Newspaper realizes Seaport is the greatest spot in Boston, so please: help us get to our first 1,000 readers! Forward this email to friends, spam your parents with this link, and post about TSJ on your MySpace page.
We hope the third edition of The Seaport Journal has whet your appetite for all the amazing things happening in the district. Stay tuned for more updates, events, and insights that will keep you connected to the pulse of the Seaport.
See you next Monday,
TSJ
