Citrus & Salt joins the Fort Point family.

Citrus & Salt, the beloved Mexican eatery in Back Bay, is preparing for an exciting relocation: they are officially moving to 319 A Street next month! Where Oak + Rowan fell, Citrus & Salt will rise. Beef Birria Tacos, Grilled Street Corn, and extremely colorful cocktails are coming to A Street.

If Citrus & Salt had a middle name it would be culinary-innovation.

The decision to relocate comes as Citrus & Salt has outgrown its current Back Bay location, prompting Chef/Owner Jason Santos to seek a venue that can accommodate its growing customer base. The new space in Fort Point boasts space for 40 more diners, an outdoor patio, and private dining rooms for large parties.

“We're thrilled to be moving Citrus & Salt to a bigger and more dynamic location across town,” Chef Santos remarked in a press release. “This move allows us to enhance the dining experience for our guests with a larger dining area, additional private rooms, and exciting new features like an intimate Patron Room.”

Santos will bid farewell to his original location that he opened up back in November 2017 later this month on February 22nd. In celebration of the exciting transition, Citrus & Salt is hosting a “Moving Forward Fiesta,” on its final day of service, featuring signature menu items, cocktails, and live music. Tickets for the event are available here for $10 per person.

As Chef Jason Santos brings his chic Cali-Mexican restaurant to the bustling Fort Point neighborhood, diners can anticipate a seamless continuation of Citrus & Salt’s culinary excellence. The Fort Point (read: Seaport) restaurant family just got a little bigger…
